Pharrell’s Takes on Tokyo

A few months ago, I heard Palladium Boots and Pharrell Williams were collaborating to create “Tokyo Rising”, ”a documentary film that turns the relationship between sponsors and content creators inside out”. (huffpost)

The short — directed by Thalia Mavros — slickly explores the way artists have confronted and dealt with the earthquake and tsunami that devastated Japan in March, and runs about half an hour. Palladium said the film was filmed over a few days in Tokyo.

Work has been a little slow, so I decided to surprise Mom by booking a last minute flight to visit her and the rest of my family in Pawley’s Island, SC.  Man, the worst part of a family vacation is leaving! Had a great time visiting the family in South Carolina the last few days…good times…(Pics of the little ones)
