REDESIGN FAV PT. 4

PwC New Identity

Price Waterhouse Coopers (officially), “provide industry-focused assurance, tax and advisory services to enhance value for their clients.” They’ve recently made an official announcement that PricewaterhouseCoopers would be changing its name to PwC, keeping the mouthful of a name as the full name of the global organization for legal purposes. PwC also introduced a new identity created by the London office of Wolff Olins (featured above). source: BrandNew

My Solution (what I designed)

I’ve always liked the font used in the old logo, it’s unique and shows much needed character to the rather stale look most of their competitors prefer. So I thought it would be better to keep the font and condense them into a unified graphic, showing unity and cohesion (without completely abandoning the look clients have grown familiar with over the years).

And then there’s the two floating squares to the right. Blue represent clam, strength, and trueness. Green represents, growth and money. The two squares unite to form another square that corresponds with the color of the font.

  2. Has anyone else noticed the Price Waterhouse logo redesign? I have, and I think it could have bee a lot better. I loved the typeface they used before..what do you think about this before and after?
